From Final Fantasy VI, we have the crystalized essence of an Esper, mounted inside of a wooden box, with a rear-mounted light.

A plasma cut steel matrix is embedded inside a cast resin form with a brilliant red glass gem in the center. Runs on 4 AAA batteries, and includes 3 modes of lighting.
